Portrait of Brianne Engel

Brianne Engel

Brianne Engel is a multidisciplinary artist based in Winter Park, Florida, whose practice spans sculpture, printmaking, digital art, and game design. Raised among the forests and mountains of Colorado, she developed an early and lasting reverence for the natural world, one that continues to anchor everything she makes.

Her work builds environments: immersive sculptural installations and mixed-media spaces where the wondrous and the unsettling arrive together. Drawing on wilderness both as a place of beauty and as a site of quiet loss, Engel constructs worlds that feel simultaneously familiar and otherworldly, places where the natural and the manufactured coexist in darkly ironic balance.

Central to her process is the use of recycled, donated, and salvaged materials. By transforming objects discarded by consumer culture into something living and new, she exposes the absurdity of disposability and insists that meaning can grow from what is left behind.

Engel is a 2026 graduate of Rollins College, where her senior thesis work was featured in Flux, the 2026 Senior Studio Exhibition at the Rollins Museum of Art. She is currently open to commissions, collaborations, and exhibition inquiries.
